Hire a Vendor
The Street Vendor Project is excited to partner with you in hiring one of our street vendor members for your event! Vendors are our city’s smallest businesses and we thank you for your support of our work and our incredible vendor community.
To hire a street vendor for your event, submit a request below at least two weeks in advance of your event, so we have adequate time to connect you to potential vendors.

Peloton HQ’s Latin American Heritage Month Employee Celebration
Two SVP members were hired to serve tamales and fresh-cut fruit to 300 Peloton staff for a special Latin American Heritage Month celebration. At Peloton’s request, the two contracted vendors also shared their stories as New York City vendors as part of their visual menu to foster knowledge sharing among staff.

Samsung 837 x Righteous Eats
To celebrate the inauguration of the Samsung 837 space, Righteous Eats partnered with SVP to hire 7 SVP members based in Corona Plaza served up Mexican, Guatemalan, and Ecuadorian bites to over 2,000 guests, activating the Samsung 837 space in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. Featuring a cooking demo of tlacoyos in Samsung’s kitchen as well!
MoMA PS1 Warm Up
In summer 2023, SVP was pleased to be the exclusive food partner of MoMA PS1 for their Warm Up summer concert series. Members offered samosas, biryani, tamales, and piraguas to concert-goers at affordable prices to refuel them for the dancefloor. Vegan, vegetarian and halal options were available. SVP staff facilitated the onboarding process to set up and breakdown of the event space, translated materials, worked with vendors to acquire the necessary licensing to operate.
